How do you express your gratitude?

How do I express my gratitude? Well it depends on the thing and situation. For instance if it’s nothing too big I just say thanks and move on. Like if someone opens the door for me and hold it. I just say thanks and keep it moving.

Now if it was something big then I might send a gift basket or something. Like they planned something big for me and I am really happy about it and have the money. Then I might send a card or a gift basket. Well that’s it for how I show my gratitude to others like humans and animals.
