What to do after a 9 to 5 work day ends

9 to 5…. What is a 9 to 5? Well a 9 to 5 job is a job that starts at 9:00 a.m and ends at 5:00 p.m.. So you are a person that is working the 9 to 5 or 8 to 4 or whatever but for 8 hours each day. And you are wondering what to do after your work day because you have noticed you have basically gotten to the period where you think “I have no life”. Well if that’s you or you are just curious keep reading.

So you are working a 9 to 5 job and wanting to know what you can do after work each day? Well you have come to the right place. So here are the top 5 things to do after work to enjoy your day if you are working a 9 to 5.

The first thing to do when you are working and is done with said work is to exercise. I know you are thinking what? Yes exercise especially if you are working in an office and sit down for hours on end. To help with this buy yourself a bike and then park your car a couple of miles away and then bike to and from your work place each day for at least 15 minutes to 30 minutes each day. This is not only fun but also good for your heart. That is the first thing you can add to your day as a 9 to 5 worker.

The second thing to do when you are working and is done with said work is to join a meet up group. What is meet up? Meet up is an app and website that lets you meet people of like mind in your area that just wants to hang out. So join your local meet up group and make some friends who like the same things as you. If you like reading? Well join a meet up group that does book clubs meeting in the evenings time. If you want you can join a different club each day for the week so right after work you are out enjoying your time with other people who have the same interest as you. So you can join a reading club on Monday, a sewing one on Tuesday, a drawing one on Wednesday, a gardening one on Thursday and on Friday a just hanging out one. So yeah if you feel you have no life join meet up and start mingling. Your new besties wait. Why this and not your regular friends? Well because your regular friends might be busy and so no time to plan a meeting while as meet up people already know they are free. So you will not have your plans cancelled as easily.

The third thing to do after work is to simply go home and take a long hot bath. Yes you heard me go home, put on some nice Christian music and take an hour long bath. Listen to the radio.  You deserve it and so treat yourself. And while in there grab a tablet or a cellphone and watch a movie or a television show or two. This is the third thing you can do after work to not feel like you have no life after work. Then afterwards text your friends and family members and ask them if they saw what you just saw or heard what you just did. Thus will help you be connected to your family and friends by talking about things they are talking about. This the third thing you can do after work to not feel like you have no life.

The fourth thing you can do after work is to join a volunteering program and go out and do good in your area. I live in Texas and we have volunteering programs around here like volunteer Houston. Find your city or state or country volunteering group and join them and help out. This way you will not only be doing something but doing something to help your follow human or animal neighbors. This is the fourth thing you can do.

The fifth thing you can do after work to not feel like you have no life is to let a couple of friends or family members know to do a zoom or  Google call or Skype chat. You don’t have to turn on the cameras but you can all be on at once and chat away while doing different things. This is the fifth thing you can do to not feel like you have no life after work.
